Enders game 5

(PG 148-156 )So far a commander named Graff wanted Valentine to send a letter to Ender explaining how she cared about him. They asked her to do this because Ender was feeling very depressed and didn't want to continue in the games and practice. This was a problem because they know he is destined for greatness, even at age 9! However, ender could tell the letter was fake, which made him feel even more alone! He knew that Valentine did send many letters, but none came in. therefore, this one must be for a reason. I’ve felt like that sometimes. When parents do things to make me feel better. Unlike Ender, they make me feel better!

Enders game part 4

PG. 138-148

It’s been three years since Ender left home to join the military. His older brother Peter has taken advantage of the only person that really mattered to him, his sister Valentine. Peter acts like a good little boy to all the parents but is still a very cold-hearted person. His parents gave him a pocketknife since he likes to walk in the woods. However, he used it to skin squirrels and watch them suffer until death :(. Ironically, Ender is now the top soldier, most respected 9 year old in the whole camp. He is not enjoying it, though. He fells very alone because no one is socializing with him like they used to. Maybe the president feels that way in public?

King Louis does not trust the Queen at all. They almost divorced several times already. When the Cardinal, the king’s right hand man, comes in with news of the Duke of Buckingham in Paris. They conclude that The Duke must be conspiring with the Huguenknots and the English. However, the Duke may also be talking to the queen in private. So now the king is going to use a group of spies to get more information about the Duke’s plans.  I don’t understand why he doesn’t trust his wife. I wouldn’t marry a woman I couldn’t trust.
